J’ai effacé cet blog encore. Looks like Blogger and Google are in sync now... good or bad? O surveillance culture. The girl who manages my Chinese class' facebook group was urging some girls off-facebook to join 'cause "it's really good." Hmm. I haven't seen the blogspot dashboard in a while and I have to say it looks a lot better. But really, it just looks like the wordpress dashboard. I wonder who coined the use of the word to describe such a function first. I've still got my LJ too... can't let go of that.
Maybe I'll end up using this one as a travel blog if I ever get around to doing some traveling (maybe I should read more). Traveling would be nice. I'd like to go to Beijing this summer for the Peking University Chinese Summer Program. I was under the impression that my father was willing to subsidise this venture since it's for university credit and it's learning Chinese, but our last phone call was iffy. A few months ago he said he'd be willing to pay for me to fly to and stay in Beijing to volunteer for the Olympics (they don't begin foreign recruitment until spring 2007 though). The first information session is tomorrow. We'll see, I guess. In the mean time: this way please for news on the creepy smoking lady in the building across the street and my quickly diminishing half-crush on a boy in my class. My life is boring.
I'm really liking Firefox 2.0's spell check function. J'aime des annotations aussi.
